I serve Gorman ISD as the Dyslexia Coordinator and teach dyslexic students. My job is to screen and identify students for dyslexia and other reading difficulties to ensure every qualified student receives appropriate specially designed instruction using a structured approach to teaching reading. Here at Gorman ISD, Scottish Rite Take Flight and BUILD instruction is used for the SDI curriculum.
