The SkillsUSA chapter was recognized at the board meeting Monday night for their recent trip to the SkillsUSA State contest in Corpus Christi. Emma Little won 1st place in the salon project contest. Brandy Formby won 3rd place in the Job demonstration open. Paige Johnson won 3rd place in Barbering technical testing. Ceidy Guzman,Lauren Campbell, Paige Johnson won 3rd place in the Community service contest. Then to finish up Paige Johnson and Ruby Resendiz Landa won Bronze in the Chapter Excellence program with the "Holiday in the Park" community service. Paige and Ruby also graduated from Ranger College May 5th with the cosmetology certificate and became licensed April 18th .
