Research and find a scholarship with an essay (minimum 300 words)
Even if you don't plan on going to college at the moment it is always a good idea to have a plan b to fall back on.

You will need to use a scholarship data base to help you find the scholarship of your choosing. Most universities have data bases in which you can search through their scholarships. Ms. Winter has some posted (or a QR code ) outside of the office... I think.
There are also many other places on the internet in which to find a scholarship, your responsibility with that is to make sure it is reliable/credible. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY TO APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP!!

You may use the Barbara Jordan or Latino History Scholarships that I have previously shown to you, but you must complete the entire requirements for the scholarship you choose.

It must have an essay with a minimum of 300 words.
You must apply.
You must do all that is required.

AFTER you have written your essay to apply with MAKE A COPY or your essay to answer my questions.

So I know that you've done so I need you to answer these questions upon turning in your scholarship essays:
1. Where did you find the scholarship?
2. What are the requirements of the scholarship?
3. What was the topic and the name of the scholarship?
4. Why did you pick this one in particular?
5. When did you submit it? Date, and time.
6. What exact steps did you have to follow in order to submit your scholarship application?

If you do not submit this on time you will have to do the formal email of shame and ask me to reopen the assignment.
(much like many college students have to do with their professors.)
