 Maxfield Elementary School

 

As principal of Maxfield Elementary School, I am excited to welcome students, teachers, and staff back to school for the 2015 -2016 school year. The campus theme for the year is “Empower the Superhero in You.” 

The teachers at Maxfield Elementary are highly qualified and spend hours preparing lessons that will actively engage students in learning. Teaching is their SUPERPOWER! They will utilize research-based curriculum and use best practices that are data-driven to ensure that each student is challenged to meet his/her full academic potential. 

The year started out with a BANG at Meet the Teacher night. Thank you to all the parents/guardians who took the time to attend, visit with the teachers, and complete required forms. Parental involvement is a powerful part of students’ success!

            I am proud to be a part of such an incredible group of educators at GISD, supportive parents and community members, and amazing students. It’s going to be a SUPER year at Maxfield Elementary!

Federal Report Cards for the state, district, and campuses are now available on the Texas Education Agency’s (TEA) website.

The U.S. Department of Education requires each state to publish an annual report card with specific district- and campus-level data.
